First 5 California: Strategic Plan 2019-2024

First 5 California, a state agency, and the California Children and Families Commission iteratively crafted a plan that reflects the in-depth interviews and feedback of First 5 California stakeholders from around the state, targeting efforts designed to coordinate, align and streamline investments that better ensure that programs, services, and other targeted efforts serve the children prenatal to age five.

The plan further elaborates on how The California Children and Families Act of 1998 continue to uniquely position First 5 California to collaborate with the Governor, Legislature, and other partners to engage in outreach and communication to the public about the importance of investing in early childhood to optimize future life success.
